ONSITE LANDSCAPE CONSULTATION
This is a meeting on site with our designer Robbie and you the Customer. In this meeting we will discuss general ideas and requirements, tastes etc, establish an overview of what you as the customer want and recognise and highlight any site specific requirements. Some great ideas and insight is gained at this stage.
CONCEPT LANDSCAPE PLAN
The next step, after the onsite initial consultation, is for us to create a draft landscape concept design plan. The creation of this draft plan and detail sketches allows you to visualise the ideas we have discussed for your landscape or garden. Once any changes have been made to this preliminary concept plan the final landscape plan will be created.
The landscape concept design plan is essentially a blue print for owner or landscaper alike to follow. This plan allows you to organise the project at your own pace and budget, or receive estimates from other landscape gardeners and contractors.
STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS
Required where there is detailed construction, that would not be considered normal or where a building or resource consent is required.
PLANTING PLAN
A planting plan is developed to show in detail: plant names, numbers and placement of plants shown on a scale drawing and any other relevant information.
This plan also allows you to source your own plants if that is a preference and is especially useful for long term projects
IRRIGATION/LIGHTING PLAN
Again these plans show the specific details of lighting or irrigation systems and factor in things like water and power supply. They are also a valuable reference point for maintenance and repairs.
PERSPECTIVE DRAWINGS
This shows the design in a 3 dimensional drawing. These are often used for selling a concept by making it easier for the potential buyer to visualise.
Eg. A house for sale off the plans may be accompanied with a perspective drawing of the outdoor landscape from the living room.
